How can you get involved? Help us!
UVSAR is a non-governmental, non-profit and apolitical organisation
Being a non-governmental organization and part of the non-profit sector, UVSAR (Association for Training in Emergency Situations – UVSAR Galati) is financially supported by sponsorships from individuals or companies, structural programs, first aid courses and funds from the 2% campaign.
Since 2014, companies that make sponsorships have the advantage of deducting the sponsorship expenses over several years, so that they can reduce the corporate income tax due to the state in another year or years, other than the one in which a larger sponsorship was made.
At the same time, companies wishing to make sponsorships are not obliged to make a profit, but must comply with the provisions of Law No. 32/1994, known as the “Sponsorship Law”, as amended.
A sponsorship contract must be concluded between the sponsoring company and the beneficiary entity (NGOs, public authorities clearly defined by law or individuals), which must contain the object of the sponsorship, its value and duration, as well as the rights and obligations of the parties.
Sponsorship can also consist of equipment or goods needed by the UVSAR team, which are a real help in our daily work (protective equipment, fuel, sanitary materials, etc.).
