Together, we build life-saving capacity.
Partnerships with public institutions, European organizations, companies, media, and technical solution providers for better-prepared communities, more effective operations, and a faster response when every minute counts.
Field experience creates impact when it meets the right partners.
The Association for Disaster Response – UVSAR AID is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organization based in Galați, operating nationally and internationally. Since 2015, we have developed an integrated model linking prevention and education with hands-on training, operational response, humanitarian support, and contributions to the recovery of affected communities.
The organization’s operational capacity includes two first response points in Galați, an in-house ambulance service with three medical transport ambulances and one emergency ambulance, and the UVSAR National Disaster Response Detachment, a multidisciplinary structure with 30 members. The teams bring together volunteer rescuers, nurses, physicians, divers, rope-access technicians, mountain rescuers, and specialists from complementary fields.
This infrastructure is supported by 120 volunteers and 20 instructors and trainers, with additional support from a network of more than 300 collaborators. Our experience includes more than 2,000 response operations, activities alongside emergency services, humanitarian missions in Ukraine, and response operations after the earthquakes in Türkiye. Together with our partners, we have supported more than 8,000 Ukrainian refugees.
Partnerships enable us to turn this experience into lasting capacity: European projects, educational programs, training infrastructure, equipment, logistical solutions, public campaigns, and international bridges. We seek clear collaborations built on responsibility, competence, and measurable objectives, in which each party understands what it can contribute and the result it seeks for the community.
From an idea to visible, measurable results.
UVSAR AID does not propose collaborations detached from the organization’s real work. Every resource, project, and contribution addresses a directly observed need: training people, reducing response time, equipping teams, maintaining service continuity, and strengthening the community’s ability to respond correctly during the first minutes of an emergency.
We can integrate a partnership into a local program, a national initiative, a European consortium, or international cooperation, defining objectives, responsibilities, stages, and outcome indicators from the outset.
One objective, several ways to get involved.
A partnership can begin with a project idea, an operational need, a resource, a skill, or a communication opportunity. Together, we define the approach that creates real value and can be sustained over time.
Consortia, education, and training infrastructure
We develop Erasmus+ initiatives, programs for young people and communities, mobilities, exchanges of experience, and projects that turn education into practical response capacity. REACT-72, Be Prepared! Don’t Panic!, and the Lifeline Academy pilot are part of a broader effort to strengthen educational infrastructure and European cooperation.
Sponsorships and institutional partnerships
We work with organizations, companies, and public institutions that can support our activities through funding, equipment, services, expertise, or access to infrastructure. We can build agreements for community projects, prevention programs, response-capacity development, employee training, or activities dedicated to a clearly defined area and target group.
Public information and campaigns that change behavior
Media partnerships can turn field experience into useful public information. We develop educational content, prevention campaigns, editorial projects, activity coverage, and digital formats that explain clearly and responsibly what to do before, during, and after an emergency.
Equipment, mobility, and infrastructure
Response capacity depends on functional resources being available when needed. Relevant collaborations include ambulances and the vehicle fleet, medical supplies, rescue equipment, communications, transport, storage, maintenance, training infrastructure, and technical solutions that increase team safety and autonomy.
Clear partnerships, defined responsibilities, and continuity.
We begin by understanding the shared objective and the resources each party can mobilize. We do not apply the same formula to different partners: each collaboration is built according to the field, capacity, timeline, and intended results.
